Shaynie Hunter

Shaynie Hunter

Shaynie wants to live in a world filled with amazing novels and even more amazing chocolate to eat while reading those novels. It would be a world where there are enough beaches for everyone to have a beach house with a private beach to relax on while reading novels and eating chocolate. There would also be amazing coral reefs with a myriad of fish and sea creatures to explore when the sun gets a bit hot while reading a novel, and she wants to take a swim.

While waiting for this amazing world, Shaynie earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees in English before attending J. Reuben Clark Law School. Shaynie has been an attorney for sixteen years. She started her legal career as a prosecutor where she prosecuted misdemeanor offenses, oversaw the victim’s advocacy program, and litigated city civil matters. After nine years in that position, Shaynie focused on family and worked in operations management while practicing business law and business litigation, in addition to doing some IP work. Shaynie now focuses her areas of practice in family law and criminal defense. Many cases are won and lost on the story that they tell. Shaynie makes your case in to a story that wins over the judge or jury.

When she’s not practicing law, you can find Shaynie reading a book, playing the piano, going for a walk or run, spending time with her children, or even writing her own book. She can also be found enjoying nature or looking for a good gluten free restaurant.
