Meet Mike: Award-Winning Attorney
Mike Mckell
Mike McKell is known as an attorney who brings passion to representing both his clients and constituents. He is the founding partner of Utah Legal Team and a current member of the Utah Senate.
In his professional life, Mike has been admitted to the Utah State Bar, the United States District Court for the District of Utah, the United State Supreme Court, and the Arizona State Bar.
Mike’s law practice is primarily focused on insurance law and representing those who have been injured through no fault of their own. His passion for helping those who have been wrongly injured. Mike is a strong advocate for the underrepresented, in court and in the legislature.
Mike has been recognized as one of Utah’s Legal Elite and as a Mountain States Super Lawyer Rising Star. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and has a perfect 10.0 AVVO rating. Mike participates in the Utah Association for Justice as well as the American Inn of Court.

Meet Shaynie: Award-Winning Attorney
Shaynie Hunter
Shaynie earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees in English before attending J. Reuben Clark Law School.
Shaynie has been an attorney for sixteen years. She started her legal career as a prosecutor where she prosecuted misdemeanor offenses, oversaw the victim’s advocacy program, and litigated city civil matters.
After nine years in that position, Shaynie focused on family and worked in operations management while practicing business law and business litigation, in addition to doing IP work.
Shaynie now focuses her areas of practice in family law and criminal defense. Many cases are won and lost based on the story that they tell. Shaynie makes your case into a story that wins over the judge or jury.
